Come and join us at Bournemouth's first outdoor pickleball festival! Located in the heart of Bournemouth Gardens, this festival is perfect for those looking for a full day of pickleball and to experience outdoor play.
The courts are a stone's throw away from Bournemouth town centre, ideal for those that may want a break from the festival and explore our hometown!
In partnership with Dorset Pickleball Club and CONVERT Pickleball. Be the first to try out the latest paddles from this exciting new British Pickleball Brand!

VENUE
The Festival will be held at:
Bournemouth Gardens Community Tennis Club, Central Gardens, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 6EY
Courts

4 x Pickleball courts (the perfect chance to play on a court without additional lines!)

8 x Acrylic Pickleball courts

All courts will be available for play 9am – 7pm
Parking

Free street parking is available a short walk away

Paid parking is available on Bourne Avenue, right next to the tennis club

Paid car park(s) are available a short walk away
Festival participants will have full use of Bournemouth Gardens Community Tennis Clubs facilities:

FESTIVAL FORMAT
Our pickleball festival is designed for all abilities in a fun and friendly environment.
This is the perfect way to meet new people and play with & against different players outside of your usual pickleball club.
For those who have not attended a Pickleball Festival before, the day will run as follows:

You will be allocated a court at our reception desk where you will join 3 other players

Games to be played as usual (first to 11 with 1 clear point) before returning to the reception desk to free up the court for the next group of players

You can play as much or as little pickleball as you’d like throughout the day!

Courts will be arranged based on ability to ensure all attendees have the chance to play competitive matches, as well as mixing in for more social relaxed games

Let us know at the reception desk your rating and what type of games you are looking for
If you’d like to play with and/or against people of your choice, simply let us know at the reception desk and we will allocate courts together accordingly. This is a great way to get practise in for upcoming tournaments if you have a specific doubles partner.
BEGINNER INTRO SESSIONS
To accommodate for all new players we are offering 2 x 1 hour slots to learn how to play Pickleball with a dedicated IPTPA Level 1 Pickleball coach.
New players to pickleball will then have the opportunity to mix in with similar level players within the festival, so you can put what you have learnt into practise.
COACHING MASTER CLASS WITH ROB WILLIAMS
For players looking to improve their game and learn from one of the most experienced coaches in the UK, we're excited to offer you the chance to have a 1-hour coaching masterclass with IPTPA Level 2 Coach Rob Williams.
This session will run before the start of the festival at 8am-9am – so that you don't miss out on any of the festival fun! Tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
This coaching masterclass is available to festival day ticket holders only.

By purchasing entry you agree to the following:

If for any reason you need to cancel your ticket, please contact us at info@dorsetpickleballclub.co.uk to arrange a refund. A refund will be made minus £2.50 to cover transaction & admin fees.

For last minute cancellations we unfortunately will not be able to offer full refunds. Any cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will be refunded minus £5 to cover transaction & admin fees.

If the event is cancelled due to poor weather (if the event cannot go ahead) all participants will be offered an exchange to participate in the festival on another day or full refunds will be available upon request.

Unfortunately the British weather can be unpredictable! If the festival is abandoned part way through, we cannot guarantee that full refunds will be offered.

Payments for the festival will be taken by CONVERT Pickleball Ltd on behalf of Dorset Pickleball Club.
